FLEMING ISLAND— The new two-lane road connecting Radar Road to Town Center Boulevard is on track for substantial completion by June 2027.
Work is ongoing in the area of the existing Town Center Boulevard roundabout and the Fleming Island Library. At present, access to the church and apartment complex remains unaffected.
Drivers should be aware of potential daytime single-lane closures, flaggers directing traffic, and changes in traffic patterns during this process.
Construction began on April 6th of this year and will ultimately result in a full connection from U.S. 17 to Town Center Boulevard, including bike lanes, curbs, gutters, and drainage improvements.
