ORANGE PARK – The Greater Federation of Women’s Clubs – Orange Park will proudly present Roaring 20s on The River, an annual Charity Gala on Jan. 20 to benefit a variety of local charitable organizations, such as Miriam’s Basket, the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, High School Student Scholarships, the Clay County Clothes Closet & Food Pantry, Safe Animal Shelter and many more.
The gala includes food stations with cuisine presented by the Chefs of The Club Continental, The Hilltop Restaurant, Santino’s Italian Restaurant and the Irie Café. There will be cash, coffee and dessert bars. Entertainment will be provided by the Clay County Community Band and pianist Roger Wood There is also a Silent Auction featuring recycled and painted LP albums and a guitar from local artists, as well as many items donated by local businesses.
The Club Continental is located at 2143 Astor St. in Orange Park. The event is 6-10 p.m. for an evening of entertainment and philanthropy. Costumes are not required but welcome. Come prepared to dance or enjoy an evening of music.

The program provides shoes and clothing for displaced children, free books for children 5 and younger, scholarships for high school graduates and food and clothes for Clay County residents in need.
Doing something for yourself is pleasurable, but doing something for others is meaningful. Join us at the Gala on Jan. 20 for a meaningful evening.
