Robert E. Brackebush, age 88 of Lonsdale, MN and formerly of Green Cove Springs, FL, died on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at home.
Private family services will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Robert Edwin, the son of Edwin and Loretta Brackebush was born February 23, 1937 in Queens, New York.
He served over 20 years in the US Army as a combat medic, senior lab tech and Laboratory Sciences Instructor. Later, he worked at VA Medical Center as a Senior Lab Tech retiring after 20 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Laurie (Rodney) Gentry, of Lonsdale, MN; granddaughter, Samantha (Jake) Pauly and their daughters, Quinn and Piper, all of Lakeville, MN; grandson, Matthew Fuller (Rebecca Fuller-Gripentrog) of St. Paul, MN; his sister, Sister Jane Brackebush of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dorothy and son, James.
