GREEN COVE SPRINGS - Junior and Senior High students created thoughtful projects for the annual Rotary Club Science Fair on Tuesday at the Clay County Fairgrounds. Students competed in several categories, and they had to explain their hypothesis, how they tested their experiment and their results. Included in the fair was different types of moisturizers and their affects on skin, which types of soft drinks damaged teeth to most, the affects of blood splatter from different heights, buoyancy for different types of plastics, homemade versus store-bought toothpaste and which toothpaste removes stains best. The results will be revealed at the Science Fair banquet.
