GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Touch a Truck is a free community event that brings together everyone and everything that moves Clay County, from departments and services to nonprofits, public safety, county agencies and more.
The event is on Saturday, September 28. There will be dozens of service vehicles for children to see up close, food trucks, indoor and outdoor activities, free giveaways and booths from county departments, organizations and other entities to tell Clay County residents what’s available to them – right at home.
The event features quiet time from 9-11 a.m., followed by lights and sirens from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
If you are interested in attending as a vendor for the day, use the following link to sign up: forms.office.com/g/CpdXpxEKZq.
This event features service vehicles such as fire trucks and police cars, construction vehicles and heavy machinery. It is the perfect event for families to “touch” and experience emergency vehicles and learn all about the different groups and programs that make our county great.
If you want to become involved or have questions about the event, email AskClay@claycountygov.com.
