Vivan Norman, age 76, passed away unexpectedly at his home. Born on November 26, 1949, in Clay Hill, Florida, to Eddie Oscar and Hettie Mae Norman, Vivan was a proud Veteran who devoted his life to the service of his country, his community, and his family. Vivan was a devoted
son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He grew up alongside his brothers Buck, Jack, Floyd, DC, and Leon, and his sisters Begonia, Gertie, and Minnie Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Minnie Lee Masters, his brothers Leon Norman, Buck Carter and his daughter Laura Lee Norman. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Linda Dale Norman, and his children, Shelby, Tomesa, and Patrick Norman. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Linda, Jayden, Austin, Dustin, Kody, Brandy, Breanna, Addilyn, Charlotte, and Dallas, along with three cherished great-grandchildren.
Vivan’s dedication to his loved ones and his country will never be forgotten by the family and small town that loved him dearly. We love you and God loves you too.
A funeral service will be held at Clay Hill Church of God of Prophecy on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 11:00am with Pastor Billy Canterbury officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Long Branch Cemetery.
