ORANGE PARK – According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, an arrest was made in the shooting investigation on Nov. 30 on Woodglen Drive.
Bruce Henry Johnson, 25, of Middleburg, was charged with attempted second-degree murder after he argued with a man in Jacksonville. The dispute moved to Orange Park, where another man suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
The agency said after the two got to Orange County, Johnson is suspected of firing a gun. Johnson returned to his home in the Orange Park South Subdivision, and CCSO collected evidence that led to his arrest.
According to the arrest report, Johnson is in the U.S. Navy.
His bond was set at $750,003.
