ORANGE PARK - Wideouts Chris Baptiste, Miles Burris, Nappoleon Cion and Andrew Rexach should be chomping at the bit in anticipation of an offensive schematic that could very well see their names in highlight reels if Ridgeview High coach Bryan Arnette creates the opportunity.

With a dynamic quarterback in mobility and attack, senior Durrionte Myrick should get the keys to the engine that should have eight cylinders of drive for four quarters.

Big question for Ridgeview, again, is offensive line protection with inexperience a boon, but Myrick looked quick with his feet and showed a solid quick release that could unload the arsenal around him.

Arnette loses one of the strongest guys around in Derrick Mosley at nose guard and that could create anxiety.

Arnette pointed out Sheppard Bridges as a top candidate on defense with James Laycock, Collier Stephens and even big dude Brayden Mackey, brother to former Clay Today defensive player of year Brandyn Mackey at Fleming Island High a few years back, as a line plugger with his 300-plus heft.
