ORANGE PARK – Thousands of Clay County residents enjoyed Concert on the Green’s Cocoa and Carols last Friday night at River Road and Kingsley Avenue. The event was highlighted by more than a dozen school choruses and bands participating in the event that collectively performed the lovely song of the Christmas holiday season. Some of the bands included Fleming Island, Orange Park, Paterson, Thunderbolt, and Wilkinson elementary choruses, the Orange Park Junior High and Middleburg High choruses and the Orange Park High and Oakleaf Junior High Jazz band. Also on hand included local holiday vendors, food trucks and a great spot to witness the Orange Park Santa Firetruck Parade, with the North Pole caravan arriving at 9 p.m. Free holiday hot chocolate was provided by Journey Church.
