ORANGE PARK – A Jacksonville woman was arrested after a security officer at Walmart spotted a woman employee suspected of a series of shoplifting incidents at the store.
Ashley Nicole Robinson, 35, was charged with shoplifting and possession of methamphetamine after the officer saw the woman shopping during her break. Security said they had surveillance of at least 11 different times she put items in a blue Walmart bag and left the store without paying. According to the arrest report, the total items taken were $558.76. Deputies also found a glass pipe and a total of 11.33 grams of methamphetamine in a backpack. Robinson posted a $6,506 bond and was released from the Clay County Jail. Her next court appearance is Dec. 11.
