Tues., Nov. 19

Buchholz at Fleming Island

The skinny: Back is three point bomber Avery Cannon with Emma Richard the all around leader for coach Joey Williams. Inside, it will be Catie Richard and Isabelle Flores handling the boards. Kennedy Williams is likely point guard candidate. Newcomer is freshman MyKayla Maddox, a strong-built power player that showed strong skills in preseason scrimmage play.

Ridgeview at Westside 6pm

The skinny: New coach Amber Amato is no stranger to Panther sports. Makenna Miller, a three point shooter, returns from junior year at Fleming Island with 16 point production in preseason. Alyssa Sherman, a sophomore, is second shooter for Amato and top rebounder.

Orange Park at Providence 730pm

The skinny: The senior-filled Lady Raiders want second district title, but lost supershooter Yoly Rosado with knee injury leaving Nayeli Williams as senior playmaker and Macie Faucett as top scrapper on defense. Coming from Ridgeview is speedy guard Trenity Gilford who was Panther leader last year that punched in with district final finish and playoff spot. Underneath is battler Sha'Mia Capers with Nia Brown (5'-11") showing some savvy in preseason clash with Creekside.

Andrew Jackson at Oakleaf 7pm

The skinny: Oakleaf has coach Frank Jenkins on the hook for one more year, reportedly, and the wily veteran would like to finish with a flurry. Lady Knights hammered away at Bartram Trail in preseason match with Isis Culver patrolling underneath and senior Kennedi Williams controlling the flow at guard. Power player Daja Oden, a senior, returnes for her senior year and is always a force in the paint.

Creekside at Middleburg 730pm

The skinny: The Lady Broncos have just one team in mind; Nease, as they return with Seton Hall signee Britany Range alone without a Roney on her wing. Center Skylar Baltezegar improved much with her footwork toward season end last year and should be formidable at 6'-2" underneath.

Stanton at SJCDS 6pm

The skinny: Spartans coach Yolando Bronston brings everyone back from her region playoff team of last year led by long-range scorer Kendall Sage with fiery Maggie Kent ready to rock the woodwork. Underneath, K?inley Hall was proficient last year with Kyla Hartwell on her side.
