Menendez
Menendez got bounced in first round of playoffs, but they are always dangerous. Clay keeping their roll going. Ton of returners at all levels. Could be ugly.
----------------------
Oakleaf (7-3, 8A) at Mandarin (7-4, district 1-8A
Oakleaf
Game One: Beat Buchholz 35-14, University Christian lost to Clay
Game Two: Lost to Lowndes Co. (GA) 37-17 , University Christian beats Bradford
Game Three: Beat University Christian 45-28

Game Five: Beat Fleming Island 29-22 in OT, Mandarin (1-3) Beat Atlantic Coast 14-0, Lost to Bartram Trail 26-13, Lost to Lee 25-20, Lost to Trinity Christian 33-7.

Mandarin stole the playoffs from Oakleaf last year with 34-33 win after putting 28 up on St. Thomas Aquinas. Mr. Florida QB Carson Beck is at U of Georgia. Walter Simmons needs a playoff level win. Simmons to Anthony crushing.

----------------------

Game One: Ridgeview beats Wolfson 28-7, Fleming Island beats Palatka
Game Two: Ridgeview beats Middleburg 35-0, Fleming Island beats Fletcher

Game Four: Ridgeview beat Orange Park 18-14; Middleburg lost to Lee 54-8
Game Five: Ridgeview beat Middleburg 34-27, Eastside (0-4)

This one last year was Knauss' first win. He should have more by now.

----------------------
Fleming Island (10-1, lost in 7A region semifinal) vs. First Coast (3-6, district 2-7A)

Game One: Beat Palatka 29-7
Game Two: Beat Fletcher 28-20

Game Five: Lost to Oakleaf 29-22 OT, First Coast (2-1) Lost to Creekside 35-0, Beat West Nassau 28-21, Beat Yulee 33-0.

This was a big deal a few years ago, but the steak has simmered a bit with First Coast not keeping hot. First Coast coach Marty Lee has had five straight losings seasons after a 12-1 2014 that got them a region final against state champion Apopka. That's odd.
