JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Symphony announces its annual Community Concerts, presented by Haskell. A Symphony tradition, these concerts welcome all of Jacksonville to Jacoby Symphony Hall for a preview of the season’s musical offerings. Performances will be on Friday, Sept. 15, and Saturday, Sept. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Jacoby Symphony Hall.

Both Community Concert performances are free and open to all and will feature a lively mix of Classical and Pops favorites. Music Director Courtney Lewis, along with the ultra-talented musicians of the Jacksonville Symphony, is sure to deliver an exhilarating performance with something for every musical taste, showcasing the full versatility of the orchestra.

“Symphonic music has the power to bring people from all walks of life together in ways that few other art forms can,” Lewis said. “I simply cannot wait to welcome the community to Jacoby Symphony Hall for these special concerts. I hope listeners will leave feeling overjoyed and inspired, ready to embark on a journey of symphonic excellence throughout the 23-24 season.”

Admission to the Community Concerts is free, but a ticket is required. Up to four free tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
