John A Hankins

Mr. John A. Hankins, 83 of Fleming Island, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023. Mr. Hankins was born October 4, 1939, in Draper, North Carolina to parents Orion E. and Prudence Hazel (Craig) Hankins. John served in the United States Navy for 30 years and was a successful business owner. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Hibernia Baptist Church of Fleming Island. He loved fishing, gardening, church and fellowship, was a Gator booster, enjoyed reading Western novels and most of all, loved his family. Graveside services will be held at Jacksonville Memory Gardens on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11:00 am with full military honors.
