LAKE CHARLES – McNeese sophomore linebacker Micah Davey, the No. 1 tackler in the FCS this season, has been named to the 2023 All-Southland Conference Football First Team, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Two other Cowboys, junior offensive lineman Cole Leclair and sophomore wide receiver Jon McCall, were named to the All-SLC Second Team.
LeClair is a Middleburg High School graduate in Middleburg, FL.
Playing in his second season with the Cowboys as a starter on the offensive line, Leclair started in all 10 games on the season and in all 21 games as a Cowboy over the last two years.
The Middleburg, Florida native graded out as the highest offensive lineman on the season and played 599 out of 601 stated plays.
