Dear readers,
Last year marked our first “Readers’ Choice Awards,” or BEST OF CLAY Awards. With more than 117,000 votes and 219 winners, it was incredible for area businesses and individuals to be recognized as the best in their profession. This will again be the biggest contest for local Clay County businesses. All nominations and voting will be done online at www.claytodayonline.com.
We are gearing up to begin the 2020 “Best of Contest” and can only imagine the engagement from the Clay County community through the nomination and voting period will be bigger than we experienced last year. The annual contest is an excellent opportunity for local businesses, charities, clubs and individuals to promote their business, charity or themselves.
This year’s nominations start on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 12:01 a.m. A business only needs to be nominated one time to be entered into a specific category. Nominations will go through March 19 at 11:59 p.m. At midnight, the voting process will be opened to the community, ending on April 20 at 11:59 p.m.
Anyone can register to vote and you can cast one vote a day for each category.
For this year, the 2020 contest businesses will again have the chance to promote on each of our digital products as well as through word of mouth, business associations, the Clay County Chamber of Commerce as well as their own social media, friends and family and employees.
Once the contest ends, Clay Today will gather winners from the special online contest and publish a very special listing of the Best of the Best of Clay County.
As your family-owned local media company since 1950 and ownership for more than a century, thank you for being a community to us. Thank you for spending part of your day with our products, for trusting us and relying on us. By a wide margin, more people today read The Clay Today and Associated Newspaper Products than ever before, and for that we are grateful. Plan now to visit our website at www.claytodayonline.com to nominate and cast your vote for the BEST OF CLAY Nominee of your choice for BEST OF CLAY contest.
