Danny Lee Hensley, 49, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on April 20, 2022.

Walter H. Cary, Jr.
Walter H. Cary, Jr., 78, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on May 3, 2022. Born to Walter H. and Josie O. Cary on June 8, 1943, in Jacksonville, FL. Walter received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in 1965, his master’s degree from Wichita State University in 1973, was a nationally certified Behavior Analyst and acquired several other certifications. He retired from the state of Florida after 33 years in the mental health field. Walter was married to Eula L. Cowee on June 6, 1963 (58 years). He was a proud lifelong member of the Church of Christ, member of Mensa, published author and poet, became an Eagle Scout at the age of 15 and was a Scout Master for 5 years. Walter was an avid powerlifter from the age of 13. He was a devout Christian and known for his love of music. He was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Josie, and two sons-in-law, Barry Damren and Russell McDaniel, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Eula Louise (Cowee) Cary, his children Walter Cary III, Deborah Damren and Charlotte McDaniel and four grandchildren, Zachariah Damren, Clayton Damren, Hannah McNeese and Abigail McNeese. He was an amazing man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family received friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, May 6, 2022 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel.
Funeral services were held at 3:00pm on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Green Cove Springs Church of Christ with Minister Claude McEldowney officiating.
Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Orange Park, FL.

Sgt. Anthony D. McIntyre
Sgt. (Army) Anthony D. McIntyre, a dedicated loyal soldier and Vietnam Veteran (disabled), passed away on May 5, 2022, he was 71 years old. Big Tony was very active in Boy Scouts and the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 38.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Paula; son, Robert and daughter, Sarah. Tony was a kind and loving brother, uncle and true friend to all he met.
The family would like to thank his fellow comrades from Bradley S. Crose, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 38, Orange Park, for all their kindness, friendship, and help during this time, they are true heroes.
A private memorial service will be held on May 25, 2022 with Pastor Amos Bankhead officiating the service.
Anthony will be laid to rest on May 25, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218, Lane #2. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the service.

Charlene Butler Stallings
Charlene Butler Stallings, Jacksonville, FL passed away on May 8, 2022. She was born on April 9, 1963 in Key West, FL. Charlene graduated from Ed White High School, worked at many hospitals in Jacksonville and spent a short time in the United States Navy. She was married to Tommy Stallings for over 20 years and lived in Fayetteville, NC for 5 yrs.
Charlene worked as a CNA for many years and got her EMT certificate in NC. She was a member of Black Pond Baptist Church in Middleburg, FL. Her hobbies included gardening and she loved to plant flowers and fruit trees. Many trees she grew from seeds. She loved fishing with her husband at Lake Lochloosa and going to all the springs in Florida. She loved all animals especially her Rotties. Charlene enjoyed going on the road to the mountains in NC and taking pictures of beautiful things like flowers and the scenery.
She will be remembered for being so kind, loving and caring and her fascination of the Native American culture and way of living. For her beautiful smile and always wanting to help other people in times of sickness. Charlene enjoyed making other people smile and laugh. She had the most beautiful soul and always loved to give rather than to receive. She never met a stranger.
Charlene is preceded in death by her father, Charles E Butler, her grandparents; Oder and Beddie Canterberry; her aunt, Bobbie Wilson and her cousin Jade McElroy.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Stallings; mother, Clara Butler Novick (Loran); sisters and step-brother, Susan Butler Braddock (Kellar), Cindy Schumacher (Carl) and James Novick (Janet); brother-in-law Keith Stallings (Linda), David Stallings; nieces and nephews, Brandon Schumacher, Carl Jr. Schumacher, Amber Schumacher, Kaitlyn Braddock; nephews David Stallings Jr. and Keith Stallings Jr.; along with other great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:30am to Noon on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Black Pond Baptist Church and funeral services will start at Noon with Reverend Jason Brown officiating.
