ORANGE PARK –The Orange Park Mall is partnering with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office to open a new North Operations Center to provide a central hub for law enforcement, while also enhancing public safety presence.

Located near JCPenney, the new CCSO North Operations Center is scheduled to open this summer and will feature workspaces for local officers to serve the community.

“Orange Park Mall has been a gathering place for families and friends for more than five decades,” said Randy Bowman, General Manager of the Orange Park Mall. “We are proud to be a part of this community, and our partnership with Clay County Sheriff’s Office reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for our shoppers while creating more opportunities to connect, build relationships and strengthen trust within the community. Together, we are investing in our hometown and in the future of Orange Park.”

Orange Park Mall is providing the 3,051-square-foot space at effectively no cost to taxpayers, underscoring a broader community-focused effort to establish a more localized and accessible law enforcement presence. The new CCSO North Operations Center is designed to bring services closer to the community while strengthening responsiveness throughout Clay County.

“Orange Park Mall has long served as one of Clay County’s central gathering places for residents and families, making it a great fit for our new North Operations Center,” said Clay County Sheriff Michelle Cook. “This partnership reflects the value of strong community relationships and organizations working together to support the people of Clay County.”

“We are proud to partner with the CCSO and welcome them to Orange Park Mall,” said Camilo Varela, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Second Horizon Capital. “This partnership is a great example of the ongoing enhancements to the center and its vibrancy. We look forward to expanding these efforts as we continue to revitalize Orange Park Mall and strengthen its position as a core part of the Clay County community.”

For 50 years, Orange Park Mall has continued to evolve with a clear focus on continuing its long-standing role as a dynamic community hub for Clay County. These efforts support the continued enhancements while reinforcing Orange Park Mall’s position as a thriving destination that grows and adapts with the community it serves.
