ORANGE PARK – A man holding a sign that read, “Will wrestle grandma for $5” was arrested on Aug. 12 for taking a PUBLIX shopping cart, roadside soliciting, possessing drug paraphernalia and the Florida driver’s licenses of two other men. James Alva Elliott, 63, of Panama City, was stopped by a Clay County Sheriff’s Office deputy after he was seen panhandling drivers at the corner of Blanding Boulevard and Orange Park Northway. The deputy said he said a shopping cart and a bookbag where he found the two licenses and a glass pipe.

Elliott pled no contest at this bond hearing and his adjudication was withheld.
