Couple arrested for
trespassing at Clay High

GREEN COVE SPRINGS – A couple was arrested for having methamphetamine after they were spotted in the empty parking lot of Clay High.
Brandon Glen Pittman, 30, of Green Cove Springs, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and trespassing on school grounds. Geneva Kay Kersey, 31, also from Green Cove Springs, pled no contest but was adjudicated guilty and fined $425.50.
A Clay County Sheriff’s Office deputy saw the couple in the parking lot and pulled in to question them since the school was closed and there weren’t any activities.
