1 – Ranking for Lemonade & More concession at this year’s fair.

4 – Number to know for next year’s fair. It will start 4/4/24 and run through 4/14/24.

5 – Hours devoted to Sunflower Hours (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) on April 1 for fair-goers with hidden disabilities.

36 –Years the fair has operated in Clay County since 1987. (The 2020 fair was canceled by the pandemic).

GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Painted faces and pony rides. Doughnuts and Frisbee-catching dogs. Ferris wheels and funnel cakes. Merry-go-rounds and monster trucks. This year’s Clay County Agriculture Fair had it all. Even with the final weekend – traditionally the two busiest days of the 11-day run – essentially being a washout by nasty weather, this year’s event shattered the attendance record by more than 21,000. Fair-goers were treated to thrilling rides, an assortment of carnival food, agriculture and historical exhibits and, most of all, a good time. Here are several snapshots of this year’s fair. Enjoy and mark your calendar for the start of next year’s fair on April 4.
