ORANGE PARK – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Sunday, Nov. 19, at approximately 12:10 p.m., reporting the discovery of a body near a dumpster in the 460 block of Bentwood Lane. One victim was confirmed dead.
According to an agency release, CCSO is trying to determine the identity of the victim and the circumstances of the death.
While the investigation is ongoing, preliminary findings indicate that this appears to be an isolated event, and there is no immediate threat to the public’s safety. More information will be released as it becomes available.
