GREEN COVE SPRINGS – The third annual Swine and Dine not only raised money for three organizations – Challenge Enterprises, AMI Kids and Seeds of Love, last Saturday, it delivered an evening of music, pig races, games and plenty of barbecue pork, chicken and sausage with all of the trimmings at the Clay County Fairgrounds. The Rotary Clubs from Green Cove Springs and Fleming Island worked together to stage the event, including vendors, photo opportunities, music from 5 Good Years, a raffle and wagering on hourly pig races. The clubs thanked volunteers, including the Interact Club from Fleming Island High and the Navy Junior ROTC from Clay High. Anyone wishing to support either benefactor can contact the Rotary Clubs through their Facebook pages.
