GREEN COVE SPRINGS – The walls are coming down at The Vineyard Transitional Center – and that’s a good thing. The facility that houses in-need men as they transition from a life of despair to a functioning member of the community, was in dire need of a makeover. In fact,
contractors said it would have been cheaper to tear the old building down and start anew. That process currently is underway on Pine Street, but the challenge to raise between $450,000-$500,000 remains. To help, visit The Vineyard at claycountyhomelessshelter.com.
