Touch of Grace Galleria serves as business hub for local vendors

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – Touch of Grace Galleria is a promenade that supports local businesses in the area. It originally opened in 2019 when Sharon Walters, the owner, saw a need for space where vendors could sell their products.

“I had a booth elsewhere and I noticed all the vendors were asking for more space,” she said.

Walters also said she got the idea to start her own business after seeing that vendors could not expand due to the limited building space available. Before its first opening, the galleria was nearly full due to co-business owners spreading the word.

As of now it offers more than 15 vendors the space needed to sell their products and advertise. Repurposed furniture, antiques, home décor, books and jewelry are some of the many products in the galleria.

“We try our best to bring in items that people are asking for at a reasonable price,” Walters said.

They offer, on occasion, a yard sale for their vendors. In addition, they offer an open house with snacks and a drawing during the holiday season.

The galleria just recently gained new vendors along with new items such as Myra bags. In addition, bird feeders, wreaths and epoxy covered cups and mugs are new to the shop. Lastly, it has expanded to opening a furniture section.

However, Touch of Grace Galleria does not only offer independent vendors a place to sell their products, they also contribute to saving the earth through their actions.

“One thing we do is we try to repurpose, reuse, recycle as many products as we can, so they are not going to the land fill,” she said.

The galleria also contributes to several animal rescues and offers gift certificates to the community when possible.
