MIDDLEBURG — The vacant lot at County Road 220 and College Drive will soon be replaced by a 7-Eleven gas station, according to reports.
The existing building complex was demolished earlier this month to make room for the new permitted-fueling center. It was the home of various businesses, including La Sabrosa Grocery and Restaurant, Wash-A-Terrier Dog Grooming, the Orange Park Barbershop and Raven Skull Tattoo.
According to a report by the Jax Daily Record, the plans show a 4,852-square-foot convenience store with seven fuel pumps for 14 stations. It will be the second 7-Eleven in Clay County, the other located at 2225 County Road 220 near the Silo Shoppes.
There is no confirmed opening date as of now.
