If one-on-one learning is more your style, there are a few other options to pick from. Clay County District Schools' Adult Community Education program has a robust English for Community Speakers of Other Languages program. The district offers these classes year-round, and students learn listening, speaking, writing, and reading. At the Fleming Island Library, members of the public can take part in Intercambio Language Exchange. The next class will be on Nov. 5 from 6-7 p.m.
