MIDDLEBURG - Oakleaf Junior High dominated the middle school track scene with the boys and girls teams both winning the Northeast Florida Athletic Conference titles at Middleburg on April 2.

Oakleaf scored a 132-99 win over Lakeside in the girls scoring with Wilkinson, Green Cove Springs, Orange Park Junior and Lake Asbury following. For the boys, Oakleaf won handily 152-82 over Wilkinson with Lake Asbury, Orange Park Junior, Green Cove Springs and Lakeside following.


Oakleaf got firsts from Bobbie Gibbs and Markya Taylor in the 100 and 200 dashes; a first and second in the 400 from Jayden Lamb and Jonathan Mirabal; first in girls 800 and 1600 from Payton Carpenter; first in 100 hurdles from Lamb with Chase Fulir second; first in girls 100 hurdles from Taylor Williams with Kayla Henry second; first in high jump from Kamerin Green; first in girls high jump from Jordyn Bolden; first in girls long jump from Kamaya George and first in girls shot put from Elizabeth Blocker.


In girls, Lakeside got firsts from Aaliyah Britton in 400 meters.


In boys, Wilkinson got firsts from Willjey Ulloa in the 800; Liam Padgett in the 1600; Jaimer Lee in high jump and long jump; and Ja'Quavion Valentine in shot put and discus.
