GREEN COVE SPRINGS— ZBest Tunis officially opened its doors to a ready crowd on Tuesday, Aug. 19.
Located at 1367 N Orange Ave., the new restaurant takes the place of the old Pizza Hut which permanently closed its doors last September.
The Jacksonville-based fast-food restaurant serves fried seafood, gyros, wings, burgers and subs, among other popular grub. They also offer a variety of lemon-mix drinks and specialty cakes.
To celebrate, the grand opening event featured a ribbon cutting ceremony, a long line of excited customers and some sample cuisine. Additionally, the first 100 customers were given free meals.
This is the restaurant’s debut in Clay. There is an additional location on 103rd Street.
