GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Clay County Agricultural Fair Executive Director has been recognized for molding the annual event into one of the top-five fairs in Florida. Her work has been so creative and impressive, the International Association of Fairs and Expositions installed her as one of its ambassadors. Hyder’s creativity includes speed dating on the Ferris Wheel, Goat Yoga, Redneck Romper Fashion Show and the expansion exhibits for livestock and agriculture. IAFE, which represents and facilitates the interests of its members for agricultural fairs, exhibitions and show associations, also asked Emily Zajac of the Lane County Fair in Oregon to be an ambassador. In all, the board of ambassadors now has five members.
