GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Lee Field, home of the U.S. Navy’s World War II F6F Hellcat fighter and F4U Corsair, will host Hellcat races at Reynolds Industrial Park on Saturday, Jan. 13.
Runners can pick between 5-k, 10-k or 50-k races on paved and dirt roads around the old airfield base near the North Florida Military Museum, 1 Bunker Ave.
The time limit is eight hours for the 50-kilometer race, and it starts at 7 a.m. The 5-k and 10-k runs, which start at 8 a.m., will have a two-hour limit.
Participants will receive a technical T-shirt and a medal.
