Congressman Bean Statement on Election of Speaker Johnson

WASHINGTON – On Oct. 25, U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) released the following statement after the House of Representatives elected U.S. Congressman Mike Johnson (LA-04) as the 56th Speaker of the House:

“Over the last three weeks, our conference has debated the leadership of the House of Representatives as we fight for the soul and the future of our great nation. Amidst our differences, we were reminded that our future depends on our strength and unity as Americans—not as individuals.

“Mike has the conservative credentials, fortitude, and the determination to lead this body to accomplish the work our constituents sent us here to do. Under his leadership we will restore our economic prosperity, secure our border, rein in government abuse and fight for our fundamental freedoms.”
