LEGAL NOTICE

Public Notice is hereby given the Town Council of the Town of Orange Park will hold a public hearing on an ordinance amending age and licensing requirements for operation of a golf cart on public roadways within the Town of Orange Park; requiring operators of golf carts under 18 years of age to possess a valid driver’s license or valid learner’s driver’s license; requiring operators of golf carts 18 years of age or older to possess a valid form of government-issued photo identification; establishing penalties for violations; providing for conflict, severability and an immediate effective date.
This public hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in the Orange Park Town Hall Council Chambers, the corner of Park and Kingsley Avenue at 7:00 P.M. The Council of the Town of Orange Park will consider said ordinance for final action. Any person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Council of the Town of Orange park with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing will need a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record would include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Copies of this ordinance may be examined in the office of the Town Clerk, Monday through Friday from 7:30 A.M. until 5:30 P.M. Interested parties may attend the meeting and be heard.
