GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Clay County Property Appraiser Tracy S. Drake has been appointed to serve on the International Association of Assessing Officers’ Professional Development Committee.
The IAAO is headquartered in Kansas City and is a nonprofit, educational association with approximately 9,000 members whose mission is to provide innovation and excellence in property appraisal, property tax policy and administration through professional development, education, research and technical assistance. IAAO members subscribe to a Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct and the Uniform Standard of Professional Appraisal Practice.
Drake has been a member of IAAO since 1998 and was elected to serve on the Board of Directors in 2019. He has also served on various IAAO committees since 2013, including chair of the Education Committee and the Profession Designation Subcommittee. He holds three designations through the IAAO: the Certified Assessment Evaluator, Residential Evaluation Specialist and the Assessment Administration Specialist.
For his efforts, Drake was honored with the Professional Designee of the Year Award in 2018 and the Member of the Year Award in 2016. He also is a Past President of the Florida Chapter of IAAO and current chair of the Professional Designation Committee.
